We are currently looking for a dynamic and ambitious professional, who
shares our values and is passionate about making real impact by
inspiring leaders of all ages to do more to create a better world, to
join us as Programme Director. You will be working in our Dublin team,
within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working out of the
bustling and entrepreneurial Guinness Enterprise Centre in Dublin 8
but with flexible working (at home and in the office).
With an eye for detail and the ability to manage high-pressure
situations, you will be responsible for all elements of business
development of Common Purpose Ireland as well as designing and
delivering our leadership programmes across Ireland and beyond. You
will also engage with new and existing customers, managing multiple
projects and developing your skills along the way.
This role of PROGRAMME DIRECTOR is a full-time permanent role based in
Dublin with a starting salary of between ?**Apply on the

website**,**Apply on the website** per annum dependent on experience
plus bonuses.
AS PROGRAMME DIRECTOR, YOU WILL:
* As part of a curation team, design and develop high impact
programme curriculum, while also creating materials that support the
quality of our programmes; this will include writing proposals
including tenders for customised leadership programmes
* Facilitate high quality leadership programmes, focused on cross
boundary leadership, for mid-level and senior professionals as well as
young people, ensuring the involvement of all participants from every
corner of society
* Ensure that the Common Purpose image is high profile, independent
and professional - marketing Common Purpose programmes and the
campaign through a range of communication channels ? including
social media
* Sell our open and customised programmes to a variety of customers,
from private to public sectors but also the third sector, sports and
arts meeting financial income targets
* Design and construct and lead on high quality tender proposal for
both public and private entities in conjunction with CEO and curation
team
* Curate and recruit programme groups which look to replicate the
rich diversity of today?s society. Common Purpose does this by
offering numerous discounts and bursaries so marginalised groups or
those that can?t normally afford such programmes can participate.
* Manage multiple and diverse stakeholders, including our alumni,
customers and programme contributors by maintaining and expanded our
networks across Ireland but also in conjunction with our sister
companies around the world
YOU BRING THIS EXPERIENCE WITH YOU: / YOU ARE:
* Trained in facilitation of small and large scale workshops (not
essential) and comfortable with public speaking (training in Common
Purposes techniques and conceding approach will be provided)
* Excellent project planning and management skills = INFLUENTIAL
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a
multi-cultural environment = EMPATHETIC, SELF-AWARE AND OPEN
* Experience in managing and prioritising a high workload and
multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines =
AGILE
* Able and willing to travel to locations for short periods of time
* Self-motivated and resilient
* Enterprising, energetic and curious
* A confident business development person
Able to build sustainable relationships with mid-level and senior
leaders
* Experienced in learning design and in learning principles
* Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of local, national issues
and current affairs, whilst steering a non-aligned path
* Have strong writing and presentation skills
* Confident and proficient in the use of MS Office
